It looks like to me on that parts diagram that the 670 uses a heat shield but not a gasket. Is that how you interpret it?
It’s there. Gasket always goes between the muffler and plate.
Edit….I see what you’re looking at now. Don’t know why they’d use it for the 625 but not 670
I sure dont see the gasket between my muffler and shield on this champ. I put it back the way it came what seems like a couple years ago now.
I would have to go back and read my build thread to see.
UPDATE: found build thread and did not have the gasket between muffler and shield. Pretty sure I didnt use one when put back together either. Maybe I just used high heat sealer. Cant recall anymore.
