Jonsered plastics

Has anyone had luck bringing back color to faded Jonsered plastic?

The fuel tank on my 670 has turned a brown color...not trying to restore it but it bugs the hell outa me

Sanding and refinishing is the ticket. I use a mix of boiled linseed oil and paint thinner to brighten up the plastic. Yeah have to sand 600 to 1200 to get the sun and oil damaged top layer off.

I agree, put the cover in the sink run a small stream of warm water over it and wet sand with 600 grit and up if need be. Then clear the cover or paint then clear the cover .It will look cleaned and not new but it will "bug you less"
