I need help finding a piston and cylinder for a 2011 Jonsered 2172. I can find everything for a husqvarna 372 except the cylinder is not a match for the 2172. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

There is nothing available in after market piston and cylinders that i am aware of for the 2172 or the Husky 372 XT. You will have to go with OEM parts. You can also use the older Husky XP or 2171 cylinder on the saw. The easiest way is to use the older piston, cylinder, intake and carb. You will no longer have the de-comp valve on the top, it will be on the side like the 2171s.
You can use your original carb and intake with a little work.
If you cant figure it out, call me.

I have a 51.4 ported top end on my 2171. I also have an extra carb from an XT. I will try it some day. I seam to put off my own saws and work on saws for everybody else.
