I've lost live oaks to root rot, but now I have a mature (and seemingly healthy) Juniper that toppled. I know what to do with Oak but, is Juniper wood good for anything; firewood? Woodworking? Approx. how long does it take to season.
Any insights would be appreciated.
Did some Googling. Btu's are not bad, so it should make decent firewood. Very good resistance to rot, so it makes excellent posts and raised beds and other outdoor uses.
