With all the new EPA regulations regarding 2 stroke power equipment... Are the manufactures going to go to longer strokes lower RPM and bigger pin sprockets. This brings be to my next rabbit trail in the wilderness of my mind...Does a long stroke on a 2 stroke engine have a point were gains are no longer realized and has any one ever seen a formula for figuring out the ideal stroke for the size of bore ( disregarding timing if possible) I understand that fuel mix and other variable play a part in this as well, so any input or thoughts on this would be nifty from all you pro's.
