OG Redwood can have a very fine grain and the size means you can have a very large board with little variation and no flaws. I won't torture you with pics of my lumber pile.

I vote that you show Steve your lumber pile Randy, that is some really nice tight grain old growth you salvaged.

Thanks for posting these pictures. It never ceases to amaze me what men can achieve when they put their minds to it. Those were some awesome trees.
