Just ordereed some Stihl chains...experiences?

I just ordered a short 25 foot reel of Stihl Semi chisel full skip for use on my 24" bars. Has anyone used this how do you like it? I run the full comp RS chain on my 20 and 24" but it seems a little slow on the 24" in softwood.

I use Stihl chain. Both RMF and RSF. I run only full skip on all of my saws. What saw were you running that it pulled slow with the full comp on a 24"?

I think you'll like it. I think it cuts plenty smoothly, and it's nice keeping the saw's RPM's up with the full skip. I've never had the chain be the reason a saw bogged down while using the full skip. Full skip is pretty much a West Coast standard on anything 24" and over. Even on a 440 or 460.

Not that it bogged down but I did notice a difference on full comp and full skip in the same log in the yard. I could push harder on the full comp before it bogged.

Could be just the old hand/mind dyno at it again though!
