Fish, I will have to dissagree with you on this topic. It is hard to believe that 30+ and maybe more got the boot from TSF. me included.

The web host has his rights, but that dont make it right. I believe that WE make the forum! and what it takes to make this one great is its people. Without the huge amount of knowledge that comes from all of us, this forum would not be much.

How many forums can claim to bring saw-men and saw-women together from thousands of miles apart, and say they're all comming back next year without ever meeting each other!
( other than on this forum )

GOD BLESS AMERICA, AND CANADA TOO.........................

You take me too serious Robert.

I was joking about never starting trouble, I try with every post.
I am amazed I am still there though. I knew with all the hate mail
I received with my first Canadian joke, I must continue to sow my
own brand of discord, and try to piss off all owners of orange
Poulans, and crazed Canadians. Also Stihl mechanics,
and chainsaw engineers, and Llama herders named Walt,
and moderators named Darin.
I do not make a lot of posts here because I focus on helping the novice fix their small engine, and most of the posters here
believe they need no help fixing their saw, but on the Garden web
I help out some, since a lot of the advice given there is bad.
I do not post when good advice has already been given. I post
here to give hell to all of the friends I have made in the past
that deserve a hard time{and the enemies too}.
When I started getting late night calls from Lambert, wanting
to play"guess what saw this is?' over the phone, I have
wandered into a whole group of loonies. If you see me make
a post that does not give advice on fixing something, I am
just trying to stir up the mud a little. Just ask Electrolux Man.

One thing nice about THIS forum is that you can post something completely wacky, offbase, totally off topic....or even overtly sexist....and you don't have to worry about not being able to come back tomorrow.

I'll prove it...here's 'off topic'...the new GS puppy we bought today....COLONEL VAN ROCKHORN (if registered by the kennel)...we call him Scout.

If you don't mind, Brian...I'd appreciate it if you could wait a few months....as soon as it cools down here, I've got a couple wacko trees to come down and I'm definitely going to need some expert advice. I can't risk getting booted until after that. I'll try to stay on topic.

Tony, seriously....I think it was your comment about your manly, leathery outdoorsman face that got you the boot. Some kind of guy thing, I'd guess....you must have come across as a 'threat'.

Hi Che', I remember the good ole days on TSF when we were all testing the waters and had lots of fun. Look at us all now and how far we have come with our saws. I will always remember how you showed me how to post pictures for the first time. Little did you know what a monster you created.
Thank You,
John

If anyone wants to know how screwed up in the head Spike is think about this for a minute...
He has banned everyone EXCEPT Fish:eek:
How messed up is that? The only conclusion I see is that Spike must be from Kentucky:D

Hi John,

I doubt it would have taken you long to figure it out, with or without my help. Now....getting advice on how to use a chainsaw, as comfortably and safely as possible while out there by myself....THAT was some really helpful information....I think I got the best end of the deal. ;)

Here's my latest pictures (fossils from last week's vacation to Lake Cumberland)....I'll work on them this winter:

a couple fossils

Just to clarify, Darin is a nice, Colorado type guy, who I just
decided to pick on.
I like starting trouble here, you all complete me!
Show me the funny Canadian Money!!!
I am just joking as usual, your loving Buddy.
