I brought home the last load for the 2021 - 2022 season Friday and split it before it started raining yesterday. Now the stacking crew has some work to do this summer20200403_162158.jpg

It feels good to have this done before Memorial Day.

Looks good man! I had a full log truck delivered a couple weeks ago. I’m maybe 1/2 way through (probly a little less) there’s more big wood in there than I really care for :/ I just kinda keep picking at it an hour or two after work and half a day or so on the weekend. Too much and the wife gets angry haha.

Thanks. I have a friend that has 40 acres at the south end of the largest eucalyptus grove in the county. Usually I drop trees and buck them up but this year he has a neighbor that is clearing some property. He dropped 10 5 yard dump truck loads of logs at my friend's house. I made a sawhorse out of a discarded skid I picked up at work. That sawhorse made cutting up the logs much easier.

Feels good to get this done. The stacking crew (wife and two boys) will be busy this summer.
