We brought down this good size tree.
I always heard of it called tree of paradise.
Which just doesn't seem to fit it's name. :dizzy:
Looking it up couldn't find anything on it for sure.

But soon as we were getting started I saw lower leaves and told my help we have poison ivy to deal with.
Then got to looking and it looked like the tree was just covered with it.

My help is freaking, thinking of walking off I believe. Got to looking at it again and their was no poison ivy
but it was the leaves from the tree, to me looking like poison ivy.

Did you find any red coloration in the wood? Box Elder often does.

You're right. Yes it has the red color in the wood.
And looking at images, you're right.

I knew Box Elder but let it slip my mind.

Jeez Ray, I thought you were just trying to be cool holding some poison ivy or something. I thought you was foolin.:buttkick:

Well then DK had it right!

I lived in an area where the box elder bug was a real pest in the winter time. The seek the heat of houses and will get in the smallest crack and group up by the thousand.

Get em when they come out for sun I say as I sit here and scratch my wrist where poison ivy has just appeared... dam it.
