This contraption looks interesting, but a bit pricey. It is rated for both SRT & DRT, and doesn't look too heavy, either. Heat dissipation might be limited. The optional speed control governor sounds particularly interesting, but they don't seem to offer any pricing on that option.

At $425, I would expect them to have a bit more information available online. No videos, and their photo sequences are a bit weak, too.

Yeah, but you can't SRT on any of those split-tails, no matter how many you have in the trucj. SRT on friction knots doesn't work too good.

A device that works well as an ascender & descender, in both SRT & DRT should become popular, providing it doesn't price itself out of the market.

dont use mechanical devices - good ol' friction hitch will do it for me

Can't fool with old school, but mechanical has it's place.

It, and the Cinch are wannabe GriGri. Stick with the original at less than 1/4 the price.:yoyo:

Saw it in action and it's a very nice peice of gear, but agree the price is out there. Better options are available, cheaper

Looks reak cool but nowhere on the site does it say it meets ANSI or CE......makes you think twice
