My post has been languishing in the collectors corner for over six months. Thought I would move it over here were the action is and see if anyone has any literature or weblinks on this one:

The closest one on Acre's site is the 648 Goliath. Any ideas as to age? Want to clean it up and hear it run. Is this also the Power Products AH-47? Would this model also use the Tillotson HL series carb?

There should be a metal tag hanging off the crankcase identifying the engine -- very likely the AH-47. That carb predates the Tilly HL. It is likely a Lauson (later acquired by Tecumseh) for which kits are still available. It is a gravity-fed carb unlike the HL which has a fuel pump. They usually clog up at the elbow between the carb and the fuel line.
