isnt that what the gas tank is for.extra parts storage?

I bought a 625 project and it was missing the starter pawls ,springs and some other small parts. You know, the ones that are a pain to track down. When I disassembled the saw I was surprised to find all the missing parts in the fuel tank.

A friend had a willdthing locked tighter than a hat band, told him id look at for him. Pulled the cylinder and found a screw with a square washer on it keeping the crank from turning. Put it back together and she started right up. How would that screw find its way into the crankcase?

Well heck!
Logged in thinking that you guys were gonna show me opening/gas tank scene
of "Easy Rider" redux (sp?).

Is it just me??, or do tethered caps just mean that they are
...always...
dangling right in some gunk on the saw
and getting it all over the cap threads and o-ring then.
as I have an old habit of cleaning up around the cap,
But just not the whole saw, when refilling during cutting time.

I.U.D. s in the gas tank.
Hmm, any relevant pics or links that I could think of
would probably get me a trip to banned camp.

so, safe search off, and google for 'em at your own mental risk.
