Best fuel tank vent

My Senix four stroke saw runs great for a bit, then bogs and dies with any kind of load. Crack open the fuel cap and it runs fine for a bit again. Fuel tank vent is clogged, no air passing in either direction.

I forgot to grab a pic and I'm not heading back out to the shop now, but it looks like these.

I tried the vent off the spare saw I have, but it would pass air out and nothing in, which isn't helpful. Looks like it was built backwards.

I'm not interested in going to Senix and getting another faulty vent. Is there an OEM vent from another manufacturer that's the preferred retrofit, or a preferred aftermarket supplier for these?
