looking for info on Homelite...

XL UT# 10655 It's a saw that my dad used for a few years for cutting firewood for his fishing cabin. I have it now. I went to one site that was listed here with saw specs but they didn't list that one. Google search found some parts, but no specs.

Take a look at the XL on Mikes site. I have a listing that says last built in 1989.

Yep, that looks like it except the one I have has a fixed hand guard that looks like a non-functional modern chain brake lever.
That is the site I browsed, but failed to find the UT#.

Edit... aha.. it was the next listed XL model.

Hmmm... nope... it looks like a mixture of the two.... mine has the metal toggle switch of the first one with the hand guard of the second. I remember it used to have that bar tip guard of the second one also.

Homelite made the saw from the mid 1970's into the 1990's. Lots of variations and improvements. Many different UT numbers.
