I put about 10 chunks of Popple once a day,, anytime after supper and before bed, doesn't matter. Once a day. Yup there big chunks but a piece is a piece as far as I'm concerned. I've burned indoor for 17 years. I find the OWB burns more wood but I don't think anymore pieces, and is less effort since I load once a day and only handle the wood three times. The woods to the trailer, trailer to shed, shed to stove. Thats it. No sweeping, no bugs, no smoke and I load it at my leizure without concern of smoking up the home. Also I have yet to meet any one who actually owns one who isn't a happy owner. Anyone I've heard complaine personally about the large amount of wood etc doesn't own one so they most likely don't understand the whole picture.
