Agree. I think there are better options for the money than this particular MS361. For instance, $400 for a low-hour MS440 w/20" bar. Nice balance:

The MS361 the OP is asking about may be a bit on the high side, but there's really no question about whether or not it started out as a good saw. Yes, you
have to learn how to start it correctly, but my years of experience operating one tells me that it's a fairly great all-arounder.

By the way, include me in on that MS440 order. I'll take 20 of them, as well.
