I've got a new Echo CS400 and am in the process of muffler mod and retuning. After removing the plastic screw limiters, I can now adjust the jet needles. But with the saw running it is hard to keep a screwdriver in the screw slots due to vibration, visibility, and they are in a deep blind hole.
I made a tool (modified screwdriver) to hold the blade in the slot and adjust while the saw is running. I basically just JB welded a thin wall steel tube to a pocket screwdriver with the tip recessed about 1/4". Works good, I'll try to post pics:
In another post, I will detail my de-cat and muffler mods.
