lowering a split hickory tree whole

This is my first post so I figured I would introduce myself with some of my work!
This tree had a break/split that went halfway thru the trunk and up it about four feet. It was leaning towards the house and the yard was newly placed sod with an extensive sprinkler system that was just installed.
