I don't know if he's nuts or not

But I am and will look in the national registry and see if he's listed.

Could he have meant 33B? I don't recall a 93V associated with any macs

I remember a 91B but not a 93B but I was already running the 101s by that time so maybe there was a 93B though the 93 came out about the end of the kart engine production.

So an eyeball inspection is the way to tell which he has.

The shape will tell all.

I know nothing about old Macs. I just wanted a decent runner for gtgs
A 90 series Mac kart engine has plenty of go in it.If those things are in decent shape for a decent price I know one old farm boy in Ohio that could take a few if they are too much hastle.

I think I can find that part of Indiana again .:hmm3grin2orange:

well wasted trip

Two old beaters, missing parts, no model numbers to be found..(without scraping off the last 100 years of goo.) So I told him I was looking for something a little more complete.

well they were built like the 550

except the air filter cover was shorter.Fuel tank was on top, or oil tank one.. Filler cap was slightly behind the top handle. But they were missing screws, and bars and chains.,
The engine was in that layout. cylinder was to the rear.

Well , the super 550 is an RCH bigger than 99 cc's.The 550 is a 2.165 bore by 1.635 stroke. The super is 2.217 bore by 1.635 stroke giving it 6.3 cubic inchs ,instead of 6.03 of the 550,if I read my micros correctly .:D

What,if any of the parts interchange between the 90 series kart engines and these,I have no idea. How some ever,Mac being Mac,any thing is possible.

You may be looking at a G-70 or Lg-6. Some of these models can have a left side starter. I have seen some lg-6 saws with the starter on both sides of the saw.
