Hi,
I have a new majesty palm in my garden and want to start off on the right foot. I've read that majesty palms are heavy feeders and require a lot of water. I also have a couple king palms and pygmy date palms that I fertilize about every 3 months per the instructions on the fertilizer container. Is this sufficient for the majesty too? I'm thinking I should up it to once a month, but thought I'd check with you experts first. The palm was in a 15 gallon pot and I planted it using palm gardening soil in a location that gets full sun from mid to late afternoon.
I've also heard that snails like this tree, should I just make it a general habit to have snail bait nearby at all times - or is that overkill.
Thanks a bunch! Christina
