Found an old Mall today. Anybody ever restored one of these. It has spark and turns over, compression is good, looks like it wouldn't take much to fire it up again. An older gentleman had it put up in his horse barn and decided he didn't need it anymore. Said he bought it new in the forties! Unfortunately it still has "varnish" in the tank.(carb work unavoidable)

I have the same exact saw.

Be careful of the fuel cutoff valve, they're not made from steel or brass, magnesium instead. broke mine off by accident.
Also, the oiler line may or may not be dryrotted and cracking.
