Hand built axe sheaths built for my G bruks axes.

Built from soft maple, back swing door to remove the axe. Door held shut with a leather thong that wraps around notched peg.

Durable and practical. image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

They look nice and stand up. I think I'll like them better when they get dirty and oil stained. I have a 100 plus year old leather scabbard on one of my old doubles, might be an American Beauty, I forget. But I like the leather for hanging on the wall, Joe.
