Nice job Lee. This is my kind of resto, nothin real cosmetic, just makin sure nothin is broken or missing then making sure it runs like a top. Way to go on a real nice find. Nice torque in the vid too.

Thanks Hoss, She seems to run pretty good. The wood is extremely hard.
Old very seasoned piece of oak so it doesn't do the video any justice.
But it still pulled good. I'm very happy with it.

Beautiful saw Lee, I definitely appreciate keeping some saws in their original state- especially when they are as nice as this one. Some elbow grease definitely goes a long way! Great work.

Your SP118 looks great! Did this saw come with a muffler?

Now you just need some custom decal's.

Sweet! I guess you already know how I feel about an S&D 166!

Tradeja an NOS late production Homelite SXL-Automatic for your SD166 Randy. I DO know where one of those is. It's overpriced.................but not if that price'd land me an SD166...:hmm3grin2orange:

Ya 166, It did come with a muffler, But it's the one with
the big round discharge port. And it hit the brake lever.
No big deal as i just swaped it out with another 166.
I might see if Joe Salva can make me some decals.
