I use an old [like 20 years] Whites Coinmaster. It's saved me loads of damaged blades. Not 100% for sure, but better than what I used to use. A sharp blade.
I got one from Wally World about 4 or 5 years ago, it's a Bounty Hunter. I think the model is 202. It was a couple of hundred buck's but it works pretty good on log's.
Bounty Hunter has cheaper, and more expensive models. I went mid range because we like to go out and play with it once in a while.

That is what I have, a White Coinmaster 6000. From a yard sale in 1986 or 7. It is big and clunky but will find a nail buried in a tree over two inches deep.
