I recently picked up this clean 490. It still has the original bar. I think it even had the original gas in it. :dizzy: I cleaned the tank, replaced the lines and rebuilt the carb. It's very low hours. I just can't get enough of these Partner 500 based saws. ;)

Nice one Ed. I don't know where you guys are finding all these cool saws- I never see anything like that around here.

JJ, I got lucky and found mine with a really cheap buy it now on ebay only about 5 minutes after it was listed.

Really surprised the guy that it sold almost as fast as he listed it. Said he thought he might have underpriced it since it sold so fast. :hmm3grin2orange:

And because of you two, I can't even get the first one!!!

Its probably just as well, you wouldnt want these old things beating up your 5100's in the shed would you? :hmm3grin2orange:

Would a complete runner be worth $70? Not like I need another 50cc saw. How much better is it than a Husky 55? I'd think it'd be the same if it uses the same P&C.

Ouch! You guys quit posting those pretty saws please - my blood pressure just can't stand it. I bet they are just photo-shopped and your saws are all scratched and old like mine.
