Just picked up a MS 192 T...always used the 020's but got an incredible deal on this saw I couldn't pass off.

Does anyone know a good way to mod the muffler or just add and enlarge the ports?

Or any other way to pep the saw up a little more?

Wouldn't bother with trying to soup-up a 192T, open out the muffler and all you go from is egg-beater power to noisier egg-beater power. Exhaust port can't be ported as it's angled inside, the whole engine build is puny, the cylinder head has tiny miserable fins the thickness of tinfoil, the conrod and bearings are nasty too, even stock I've seen them overheat and grind their big-end bearing to shrapnel. The 192T is what it is.
