Ms 250 bar

Just wondering if you can switch the ms 250 from the small bar mount set up to the large bar mount. If i could, i could use other bars an chains i already have.

Was thinking just switch bar studs? Not sure what thred size is for small and large for screwing into the saw.

The MS250 uses the smaller 3005 series bars and they're quite a bit narrower than the 3003 bars shared by the MS260 on up to the MS660. Why not just get the correct bar for the saw? There's plenty of them around.

The bar if fine thats on it. I was just wondering if i could use the same bar as my 026 and ms 290.
