Need to let off a little 'STEAM'>>>>..........In January I bought this brand new MS270 w/ 20" Bar & Chain for clean-up work on the ranch. The Oiler works, but I noticed my chain top plates browned. That tells me there's not enough oil to keep the bar and chain cool. Investigated, and had some wood chips that may have caused the problem. But the next time I got into some big trees where the entire bar was in the wood I noticed the top plates were brown again. This is getting on my nerves. I'm about ready to tear this thing down and go thru it with a fine toothed comb, for what good it will do. I'm even contemplating on trading it in because of this. My little Poulan saws may be cheap, but at least they do a good job of oiling the chain.
