MS260 EBay deal

Now I see where the skepticism comes in. The seller has three MS 260 PRO packages listed. All with exactly the same description...

Yeah, and if you look at his feedback profile, he has sold several of these...all the same.

Finally got an email back from the guy. He says he doesn't rebuild them, but instead they are built from new all Stihl parts...how likely does that seem? So his collection of chains and bars is $200+ on those auctions, can you buy the parts to build a MS260 for less than $300?

No not at all... $300 in stihl parts would buy you a Piston, cylinder and maybe a few pieces of plastic.

He may be a dealer. I'm not sure what a dealer would pay, but it's gotta be less than everyone else.

No im not a dealer. I can tell you that I just got my stihl order in yesterday and it consisted of a set of gaskets, fuel line, chain break assembly cover and a few fasteners and it was $109!! Stihl parts are ridiculously priced..... I HATE buy them!
So $300 worth of 260 isnt going to go very far at all.
