ms280 replace iem carb with standard carb? whats required

have a stihl ms280 iem with a failed solenoid. unable to find a replacement locally but can find non iem carbs, is a retrofit possible?

have you got a link to the amazon part? my search brings up nothing, shipping to new zealand is also usually a killer

Go to your Stihl dealer and get the 0000 120 5111, and be done with it. The one in the previous post is replaced by this.

Don`t use the kit Chevboy0167 posted. It contains the wrong solenoid valve (white 0000 120 5104) and may not work correcty with your saw. Use the one I already mentioned above (green one 0000 120 5111)
