I guess you could call it minty, it's all stock and never been apart. Runs perfect. Starts great oils great cuts like a banshee. Believe everything you read about this saw, the only reason I am selling is because I have 2, the other has a base gasket delete, will sell either one for 450, these are the bars that came with the saws. Pictures of the compression is after the base gasket removed. Prior it was 165 i believe, I can check the other saw if anyone wants to know. Paypal for good dudes and friends and family, ship anywhere for actual cost.20170320_170739.jpg 20170320_170749.jpg 20170320_170801.jpg 20170320_170814.jpg 20170320_170825.jpg 20170320_170841.jpg 20170219_154816.jpg 20170123_025425.jpg 20170320_170739.jpg 20170320_170739.jpg 20170320_170749.jpg

I don't know why but it's been sold, my bad if I forgot to update. The sealant I use is copper seal gasket maker. Great stuff just coat both surfaces and let tack. Same stuff used on airplanes. And yes bumping the compression makes a difference, muffler mod, not .

Wouldn't idle probably, but Jaguar didn't use gaskets or sealant in their heyday, proud of their machining. It would work if it had flawless machining. You would know if it was leaking, you would see the oil trail. And it's not going to idle if it's got a air leak

Ya I guess the leak could be small enough that it would still run with no sealant. Thats what happened to this saw here. No sealant. Almost seized the piston . Looks like the crank got pretty hot too20170701_101754.jpg

So you are saying a muffler mod on a 361 makes no diff? I beg to differ. The inside of a 361 muffler is a choked up mess.

Minor, she'll buff out, use 320 grit in the ring lands make sure that they aren't sticking in the piston. Take any high spots on the piston down with a tiny file then sand it uniformly. And as long as you don't feel any sticky spots when you slide the oiled piston with no rings up and down the cylinder, run it. I've fixed a lot worse and they're still running. Send me a pic of the piston when you get it done, before you put it together, and a pic of the plug when you tore it down. I want to check if you have other issues
