Hey guys,can a 460 air filter assembly be fitted on a 440? In Europe,the 440s come with a mesh filter and a one piece filter cover.Magnums are not available.

filters are interchangeable. 440,441,460,461,660,661 will use the hd2 @floriceeel
The filters for the 044, 046, 064, 066, 084, 088, 440, 460, 441, 461, 660 and 880 are interchangeable. The air filter cover is not, nor is the baffle.
The filter is part 0000 142 4402. At least those where what I got yesterday to get ready for the work season.
The 661 uses a different filter than the 1122s/1128s/1138.

What about maxflow,can I fit it on the 440 without any other mods?Remember,it's an old style mesh filter like the early 044s

Sold the 440 for $600 and bought a 462 brand new for $800
I would stick with your stock non HD filter. It filters fines far better, and it allows plenty of air in to the engine. It also saves about half a pound of weight.

Some guys had about 20 of them and 3 661s.They asked 850 and we agreed on 800 finally.Imagine yhat yhey've sold the 661s for 850 each but I was too late.

We are from Romania,the shipping would be too much.All the saws were sold in two weeks.Some of them had heated handles,mine doesn't.A single guy bought 4 462s and 2 661s.He has a logging company in the Carpatians.
