Muffler Mod question

I plan on doing a mm on my nearly new 372xp xt. My welding and brazing skills are not up to par so I thought of adding a 288xp deflector and screen to the muff. This will also keep it looking kinda stock. Will this be enough??? I already know to retune the carb.

Forgot to ask where is the best place to order the deflector/outlet screen???

That is a good way to do it as is out the front of the muffler brace. The front opening is how I do most now since it requires no screws that can fall out.

I just lifted the deflector and made the stock port as big as i could using a Dremel and carbide bit.
