With the new MIG welder in the shop I can see a muffler mod or two on some yellow this winter. Nothing like taking a tuna can muffler and going at it with a P-52. I do have an extra 056 Super just sitting why not juice it up...and scare Bigfoot

Muffler Mods

OK here is my contribution This first one is my 445,then the Husky 51. Ken

Next two are from my 51.Not as pleasant to observe but highly functional

Here are the only two muffler mod's i have done.
Both Poulan S6000's. One has a little bigger pipe.
Both sound really nice.

Between You, and Lee Sachsmo, i think you guy's have more stock in Dolmar, then Dolmar. Just awesome. I have never done my own muffler, just put the dual port plate's on the stihl's. Thought about a custom for the 2101.

This may be a stupid question, but what are you guys using for pipe?

Cut the leg off an old garden chair and place a rock under it.

My ported 100cc 395XP with 288 deflector.

cow bell muffler on my 101 geardrive.

Here is the trigger guard deflector done by Dean at Washington Hotsaws. This muffler mod was done on Spikes 2153.

I have found brass to make good deflectors.

About the question on what you use for the pipe I use EMT conduit 1/2" or 3/4".
