Well I pulled the trigger on my first Stihl, a MS362-CM. Just wanted to give a nod to everyone who posts here. There is a real wealth of information (too much at times) to help a novice like me. After doing some research I wanted to pickup an extra bar (Tsumura light 24") and run it with a full skip chain, and upgrade to dual felling dogs (vs. stock single). I haven't had a chance to put it to work ye but until then here are a couple of pics..

I got a nice mod for that saw ... really wakes her up !

Thanks everyone it sure has been fun learning about saws. I also wanted to share what I did for a case. I was going to purchase a Stihl case but after reading the reviews about the handle and hinge breaking issues combined with having to mod it to fit the oversized dogs I though Id pass and go a different route. I ended up going with a Husqvarna power box that I had to mod a little to get the 362 to fit. The hinges are much better and I love having a little extra room for extra oil, chains, gloves, etc. It does sit slightly askew but does not move and it's a small price to pay to protect my investment. So am I in trouble with the community for using a Husky box for a Stihl?? Here are some pics...
