My Friend Needed Some Full 2"x12"-16's

So i loaded a big white pine on the mill and leveled it up a bit with the "toe boards",

the log had big bumps on it, so i had to make a cut and then turn it just so the head rig would clear. Once that was done, i turned the log again...

then i took a slab off, and turned the log again,

and took another slab off!

My friend also needed some 5/4 boards, so i took some 5/4 boards off to get to the 12" wide cant that i needed to make the 2x12's,

"finally" i turned it one last time and took the last slab off!

Now, with a few more 5/4 boards comeing off, i'm getting the cant down to size,

and then the 2"x12's "finally" start to come off...

while cutting the 2x12's i also did some edgeing of the 5/4 boards...

Here's the lumber my friend needed...

So i loaded it on my "log hauling" running gear, and took it to him! He was very happy with his lumber, and said he'd need some more later on.

Good post Rob, more good pics. I bet your friend was happy, that's a nice stack of boards.:clap:
 
those are 21.31 at lowes here
7x 21.31= $149.17
plus another 25 for whats on top

hummm

looks like bout $165 worth of lumber to me!!!!!!!!!
