Need a load of firewood logs in the Delmarva area.

Folks, I've called every number I could find for local logging companies, asked at the local sawmill, even asked some Amish neighbors. No soap.

I've seen truckloads of firewood logs going by on the road so it's gotta be out there somewhere. If anyone knows someone who can get a load of firewood logs delivered to central Delaware, I'd certainly appreciate the help.

hate to say C/L Fred, but maybe try posting a wanted ad there. or do a search on c/l for firewood logs.

When you see a truck go by give chase. I saw a nice load go buy the other day so I jumped in my truck and took aff after the guy. Turns He was just going around the corner. Ordered three loads on the spot.

If trucks are going by, then how about putting up a big "logs wanted" sign?
If they don't have any logs available, they might know somebody who does.

hi Fred, the thing is most of the guys you are seeing are contract loggers or haulers working on mill owned timber. ie it will all go to that mill.
i am independent, but rarely ever do a clear cut so seldom ever need to sell fire wood sized trees. i will however keep you in mind.......i forgot, where in delaware are you?

Yup, just down the road a piece from the Pearson's Corner and Halltown Road intersection.

i some times sell to the amish and mennonite mills.........no fire wood though.
