I have 24 Green Giants (7'-8' at planting) that were planted 3 months ago (You all have answered various questions on them along the way. Thanks!). Now, I'm trying to figure out how often should I be watering them at this point? High temps are now in the mid-70's with mornings in the mid-50's. Zone 6b/7a. USDA.gov classifies my soil as Gravelly Sandy Loam.

Something I had previously read on watering (given their size), suggested watering daily for the first 1-2 months and then every 2-3 days until they've been in the ground for 5 months, then weekly thereafter until fully established (18 months). Does this sound right? 5 months would take me into mid-Nov. Should I be watering them that frequently when temps are dropping and less evaporation?

The trees are currently doing well and have new growth.

Thanks in advance!
