when you put the diaphram in for the rocker arm for the needle, make sure it is in the groove not on top of it and set the rocker arm level with the base of carb.

no problem.. it is easy to do sometimes.. it is a tight fit..

Perhaps Stihl used Walbro carbs on the last 041's but I have never seen anything but HS Tillotson's on them. It would be interesting to know if Walbro was ever used on the 041.

Tore into and worked on dozens of 041 's throughout the years and never seen Walbro on one..... always the HS Tillotsons. I'd like to know as well and see one if it exsist.
