The leaves on my allegedly "fruitless" plum are shiveling, dry, and falling off the branches as if it were Autumn - but alas, it is merely July. I know the tree gets plenty of water and it bloomed this past spring. It's twin is doing fine but I'm afraid I will lose this tree since all the leaves have dropped off of two main branches. Thanks to anyone who would consider helping me.

Sick Plum

Did you get any answers? I am having a similar problem. My plum tree did not produce fruit last year--it was extremely hot and dry in the mid-west. This year it produced fruit, but it dropped off in early June and the leaves a now dead in late June. I really don't want to lose my tree.
