need some help.......

i got my granddad's 020....it has'nt run for 3 years because of broken flywheel. can anyone shoot me a price on a flywheel for it. also what other stihl saws are in this family ...like have parts interchange ability.and how hard is it to swap this flywheel.no saw experiance to speak of,but i am in the auto repair business so i do have alot of the wrong tools. thanks for any help.............jeff my mistake its a 020AV

I would bet that Scott(retoocs555) on this site could help you out with the flywheel. He has a lot of parts. If he doesn't see this thread, send him a PM. He has been great to deal with in the parts I have needed.

thanks bama...ok second question is this is a top handle and points saw can it be converted to a rear handle and electronic ignition? and how hard is this job?

Without checking I'll hazard a guess.

I doubt it's a points ignition and I doubt you will easily covert it to rear handled. Probably possible, but you'll be looking for a few major parts of the casings me thinks.

Grandad's saw = really old one. Yes it could be points then.
