Also can I run full skip on a 20" bar? The biggest bar I've seen is 24" mine is 20, and someone ordered the wrong spool type. He'll give me a good deal IF I make up 3 chains worth.

nope an OLD ancient Made in West Germany 043.
I've never heard of that model. There's a 040, 041, 042, 044, 045, 046, 048, but no 043.

Still no mention of an 043, simply because there never was one.

No doubt that is from/for an 048 - which is a model that actually existed.

There is no such saw - but there once was a KS43, which was a huge two-man saw mostly made for the German army during WWII?
The model was made up to 1973, so some surely said "West Germany" on them.

Look closer at the model number of that saw (as there never was an 043), and it is impossible to provide any chain advice without knowing the pitch, gauge and dl count of the bar. Without all that it would just be a "guesstimate"
