If the muffler isn't opened up would the carb limiters need to be removed just from having the transfer covers modified?

Saws (several) I have done this on can be tuned without removing limiters. Dahmer also trimmed baffles on his, how did his work out?

I put in that muffler with the 1” pipe opening so I trimmed limiter to tune it. Would have been borderline for adjustment with that muffler. If a stock muffler the limiters would have been ok.

Think on x-torq saws, I would leave limiters on and purchase a splined screwdriver. Sometimes, I just cannot help myself.
