It is not bad to live in Jersey,

I read about a program that the state puts on that allows residents to pull a firewood harvester permit for $20.00

as it turns out this program is run out the state park 3 miles from my house.

Here are the details. $20 go pick up your permit and then head to the woods in a specified area called the wood cut. the entire area is accessble via 4x4 then cut til your hearts content. the only stipulation is do not cut the marked trees and do not cut outside of the boundry also marked.

When you are done for the season turn the pass back in at the ranger post.

The 044,361 and 7900 ran great and I helped out a couple other guys in the woods cut up some stuff too. What a great way to spend the day on saturday.

I felt like I was getting away with something

What state park is this for? Can you get a trailer in the roads?

I got my permit at the atsion office but they if I remember correctly they do it at several other parks in the state.
