New ms261cm - had winter mode enabled

Bought my new ms261cm and it was running great till I saw that the dealer had it in winter mode.

I swapped the insert around to summer and used it today and it seems to be getting bogged down in 16” maple. Im

Now I did just sharpen the chain on it but I’m wondering if the computer when it was calibrated (if it was) at the dealer was done in winter mode and now that I switched the card over to summer, it’s trying to re-learn?

The instructions to reset the Mtronic are in your owners manual. That might get it back on the good foot.

That’s what I ended up doing afterwards and it’s ripping through!

Never heard of winter mode. That run it rich I guess?

Winter mode draws the air supply to the carburetor from the engine shroud, hot air. Not meant to be used in temperate weather.
