Appreciate the help guys. Bought a few 8 foot Red Oak saplings that look great and healthy. However, I noticed that some of the leaves looked like this, with varying brown spots on them. I'd say less than 5% of the total canopy - rest of the leaves are bright green.

Just wanted to make sure this wasn't oak wilt, and wasn't going to get worst with time. It's been a very wet spring here so far so hoping it's just another minor fungal issue.

If oak wilt, will start at top of tree. In the early summer the leaves will fall off if wilt. I’d call your local county forester if you have one so they can verify and stop the spread of the wilt from the nursery. Very damaging malady. States are going to great lengths to stop it from spreading.
