New Saw Break In

Picked up a Dolmar PS6400 on the weekend. What is the best way to break it in? Dealer said just start cutting with it and after a few tanks bring it back and he will adjust the carb.

Do just as he says. Also try a search on here and see what you find....

FHC is right, as is your dealer. Run it like you would anytime. Try to avoid unloaded WOT, and you should be OK. You do need to take it back to have it tached after around 5 tanks of fuel, they do loosen up and will speed up as they break in.
