Bought a new 460 4 weeks ago and have ran about 4 gallons of gas through it. Was sharpening the chain and cleaning up the saw thought I would pull the air cleaner to blow off particles. I found a small amount of very fine wood dust sticking to the inside of the carb just before the choke butterfly. Please tell me this is not normal!!! This is supposed to be Stihls great air cleaner. It is the stock oil less element. I see Bailey's sells a 2 piece foam element like a dirtbike. I have ridden a lot of years and never had any dirt in the carb and have been in some real extreme conditions. I know what dirt does to a motor and sure don't want my new $900 saw to be junk before I even get a season in. What do you guys recommend?
