they any good? were thinkin about buying a new cable skidder

Jim, they are execellent machines! The TJ360 is the same thing as a JD540/548GIII The TJ460 matches the JD640/648GIII's. They are owned by Deere and for the most part are the same thing just a different color but Timber Jack gives you more options in specing out their machines than Deere does. Personally if it were my money I would buy a TJ360 cable.

Deere all the way Jim .. I'm gettin rid of this old C4 I have towards a 95 648E grapple at the end of the month if it all works out well.. Ithe only thing I dont like about Deere is the live hydraulics in the winter it makes starting harder..I'm using this machine on my job now and it does'nt like starting at all when it 10 degrees out..but they are great machines

Try starting a 440c with no glow plug system in zero degree weather.
